Meditation and the Mind
Meditation
provides the mind with the ability to be still and calm.
As we let go of the tensions in our body, the brain makes
endorphins, DHEA, human growth hormone, serotonin and a
number of other hormones and neuro-chemicals related to
relaxation, stress release and well being. When the
brain produces these chemicals it gives us clarity, calmness
and contentment. It also enables us to stabilise our
emotions making our quality of life happier, healthier and
more fulfilling. So the saying is true "A healthy mind
is a healthy body".
When practiced at least twice a day, meditation is
excellent to act as a doorway to the subconscious mind,
healing any deep emotional traumas (suffering) or pain that is otherwise
unable to be accessed through the conscious mind.
Meditation also gives us the ability to keep aligned with
our sub-conscious or "space consciousness" which leads to
enlightenment. We then have the ability to make wise
life choices and act according to our true nature or our
intuition. When we are still and acknowledge the space
or the vastness that is within us; we know then which
direction to take.
A personalised service for clients wanting specific areas
of their life to heal, grow or manifest is offering by
creating a specialised meditation specifically tailored to
your needs. After a one hour consultation, to
ascertain your requirements, a meditation is then created
with a follow up session to experience the meditation
personally.
A course in meditation is also available for those
wanting to find out more about the benefits and how
meditation affects our bodies in a physical way and how to
allow more space into your life. It is
called The Meditation and Relaxation Course.

Group Meditation
Full and New Moon
Meditation Group
The
Full and New Moon Meditation Group has been created to align
your energy with that of the energy of nature. As some
of you may already know, the energy of the moon has a very
profound effect on the earth, in particular, the tides.
With majestic regularity the moon causes the ebb and flow of
the waters for our planet, and since our bodies are over 90
per cent water, the Moon also causes the ebb and flow of our
moods and emotions. The explanation of the rhythmic
motion of the water is a simple one. The gravitational
pull of the Moon, our closest astral neighbour, is so strong
that it draws the Earth's water towards it. This
causes the seas to lift in the direction of the Moon.
This of course will cause a high tides in that area of the
earth. Equally, on the side of the earth that points
away from our lunar partner the tide will be low.
The highest tides occur at the New Moon when Earth, Moon
and Sun are in alignment. The reason for this is that
the Sun's massive gravitational pull is added to that of the
Moon at this time. These are often called Spring
tides.
It is a sobering thought to consider that even though the
phenomenon of tides is most obvious in the world's oceans,
the moon has a tidal effect on any body of liquid, including
a cup of tea or coffee. So ask yourself, what effect
does our lunar companion have on our body fluids, the blood
that courses through our veins or the liquid that surrounds
our brains?
Create connection to the space within by attending the Full
and New Moon Ceremonies and see the stillness within as in
Mother Nature. Moon Meditations create presence with
yourself and assist in seeing your true nature.
